Oxygen compressor refers to the compressor used to pressurize and deliver oxygen.
Oxygen is a violent combustion supporting agent, which is easy to cause combustion and explosion.
Attention shall be paid to the following when designing and using oxygen compressor:
(1) Compressed gas parts are strictly prohibited from contacting with oil. The cylinder is lubricated with water and glycerin without oil or oil-free lubrication. During maintenance, the oil shall not be contaminated. It must be cleaned and dried with solvent before assembly;
(2) Because the humidity is high when lubricating with water and the temperature rises when compressing, the oxygen from the wet gas holder is corrosive, so the materials contacting oxygen should be corrosion-resistant and have good thermal conductivity and conductivity. The cylinder of oxygen compressor is generally made of stainless steel, the piston is made of aluminum alloy, the components of high-pressure piston are made of copper alloy, and the intercooler is made of copper pipe or stainless steel pipe;
(3) The average speed of the piston should be lower, and the gas velocity in the pipeline should also be lower than that in the air compressor;
(4) The exhaust temperature of the oxygen compressor should not be too high. It should not be higher than 100 ~ 12C when lubricated with water. It should not be higher than 160 ℃ when lubricated with oil-free structure filled with polytetraethylene. The pressure ratio of each stage should not be too high.
